worlds best cars
Introduction
The world's best cars are as varied as the people who drive them. Some of these vehicles are insanely fast, while others are built purely for luxury and prestige. But all of them have one thing in common: they're just plain cool! Here's a list of some of the most iconic vehicles that have been on display at automotive events around the globe:
FERRARI
Ferrari is a fast, powerful and luxurious car. Ferrari has been the best car in world for many years. It is one of the most expensive cars in the world with prices starting from $300k to $400k+ depending on its model and specifications.
The first ever Ferrari was built by Enzo Ferrari himself who began designing his own cars in 1948 but it wasn’t until 1954 that he decided to start manufacturing them too! His aim was to create a luxury sports car which would appeal to people who loved driving fast but also wanted something comfortable enough for everyday use too!
Today there are over 50 models available ranging from coupes through SUV's up into something called LaFerrari Aperta which means Open Souped-Up One... this special edition model comes complete with leather seats (which aren't really leather), more chrome trim around windows & door handles etc...
LAMBORGHINI
Lamborghini is the fastest car in the world. It's also the most expensive and luxurious, as well as being a great choice for those who want to look like they’re driving an expensive car even though they aren't.
The Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 is a good example of what you can expect from this brand: it has a 6.5 liter V12 engine with 510 horsepower, which allows it to reach 60 miles per hour in 3 seconds and 100 miles per hour in just under 9 seconds (if you're willing to pay $300k). The vehicle weighs 2 tons, so there are no concerns about handling or stability at high speeds; instead, all attention will be focused on how awesome your ride looks while you're stuck behind someone else's slowpoke SUV.
BUGATTI
Bugatti is a French manufacturer of luxury automobiles, founded in 1909. The company's headquarters are located in Molsheim, Alsace, France. Bugatti has been owned by the Volkswagen Group since 1998.
The company's rare model line-up has been broadened to include a more modern range of vehicles. Today, the company offers two models: the Veyron and the Chiron. In 2005, Bugatti began production of their first super sports car, the Veyron 16.4. The current generation of this vehicle is in its top speed configuration, which has a top speed of 420 km/h (261 mph).
KOENIGSEGG
The Koenigsegg is a Swedish luxury car manufacturer based in Örebro, Sweden. The company was founded by Christian von Koenigsegg and his wife Catarina Rindahl in 1996. In 2000 they were granted an export license to build cars outside of Sweden, which allowed them to start manufacturing the CC8S (which was discontinued in 2003).
In 2004 they began production on their first hypercar: the CCXR Trevita. The car was powered by a 5-litre twin turbo V8 engine producing 1,000 hp (746 kW). It had an estimated fuel economy of 17 mpg US which made it eligible for production tax rebates in certain states across America but only if registered with those respective governments' departments of motor vehicles.
BENTLEY
The Bentley is a British car manufacturer, which was founded in 1919. It is one of the oldest and most prestigious car manufacturers in the world.
It's known for its super luxury cars and it has been producing some of the world's most powerful, fastest and luxurious vehicles since its inception.
LAMBORGHINI
Lamborghini is an Italian manufacturer of luxury sports cars and SUVs headquartered in Sant'Agata Bolognese, Italy. The company was founded by Ferruccio Lamborghini in 1963, who set out to produce a car that people would be proud to own.
Lamborghini's first vehicle was the 350GT, a mid-engined roadster with all-independent suspension, which came about following the success of his business partner Fiat's Maserati 250S coupé. The 350GT debuted at the 1963 Paris Mondial de l'Automobile show before going into production later that year as a 1964 model year vehicle; it was powered by a 4 litre V12 engine producing 310 bhp (220 kW) at 7500 rpm.[1] In 1965 this was increased slightly to 320 bhp (230 kW).
PORSCHE
Porsche is a German manufacturer of luxury automobiles, which also owns the Bentley, Bugatti and Volkswagen brands. The company was founded in Stuttgart in 1931 by Ferdinand Anton "Ferry" Porsche who had been working for DKW since 1928.
Porsche's first automobile design was the 1929 Mercedes-Benz 540K Special Roadster, which featured a mid-mounted engine driving the rear wheels through a four speed gearbox and chain drive to its rear axle. The car became known as the "peoples car" because it was affordable enough for many Germans to purchase one after World War II ended in 1945.
MASERATI
Maserati is a brand of cars, luxury vehicles and sports utility vehicles (SUV) produced by Maserati S.p.A., an Italian manufacturer based in Bologna, Italy. The company has been owned by the Fiat Group since 1993, though it has been part of the Fiat Group from March 1, 2016 following its merger with Ferrari NV to form FCA ().
Maserati cars have often been featured in movies such as "The Italian Job" or "The Matrix".
