The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios is slightly larger than the previous Grand i10 in all dimensions. I wouldn't confuse one with the other, though, because the Nios sports Hyundai's slightly polarizing new-age styling theme. On the one hand, the large cascade grill looks a bit oversized and there is also a touch of Santro on the nose of the Nios. The boomerang-shaped LED DRLs are a distinctive touch, but the styling at the rear is fairly generic. Like the Grand i10, the Nios also has a fountain. -ready and

Cabin. The overall quality is impressive and things like the hexagonal texture on the board improve the look of things. The dashboard itself has a neat appearance, putting the infotainment system within sight and reach. The partially digital instrumentation is another cool touch. Drivers will like the view, but taller adults will find the front seats lack shoulder support.
Rear seat passengers enjoy it with plenty of legroom and a surprisingly supportive seat. Large windows give the cabin an airy feel, and the use of light colors in the interior also contributes to this purpose. .The children 1.
The 2-liter petrol engine delivers 83 hp. Power is adequate for a city car, but you'll have to keep the engine running if you're in a hurry. The good thing is that the 5-speed manual transmission and the light clutch are easy to use. We've yet to run the AMT 5-speed automatic, but the promise is more comfort without a huge sacrifice in fuel economy.
Buyers interested in low running costs will do well to look at the Nios diesel. Its 75 hp 1.2 liter engine makes the performance friendly, and there's enough oomph for city driving. On the Autobahn, however, the lack of engine power is all too evident. The 5-speed manual transmission is smooth and the AMT automatic gets the job done, even if shifts aren't absolutely smooth.
Light steering and good visibility make the Nios easy to live with in the city. Still, the Nios feels outside of its comfort zone on the road, although the heavier diesel feels more reassuring behind the wheel. Models with 14" wheels offer a more flexible driving experience at low speeds than versions with larger 15" wheels.
